Rawat’s death lands IIOJK shopkeeper in jail

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Kashmiri shopkeeper was arrested by Indian police from a village near Rajouri town on Thursday for his social media post on the killing of the Indian Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and other forces’ personnel in a chopper crash in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.

The man, who is a shopkeeper by profession, reportedly shared a social media post on his Face-book wall which, police claimed, is sensitive in nature and ‘highly objectionable’.

Police officials said that soon after the matter regarding the post came to the fore, a team from Rajouri.—KMS
