Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and Customs Intelligence are intensifying their crackdown on smuggling operations in the city. The two agencies conducted joint raids on warehouses in Karachi’s Jama cloth market, Lakhnawo cloth market, and Delhi Cloth Market in the Saddar town. During these operations, a large quantity of smuggled cloth worth millions of rupees was seized. Seven individuals resisting the raid were arrested and handed over to the police. The seized goods were transported in 23 trucks for further legal processing by customs authorities. Pakistan Rangers emphasized their commitment to continuing operations until smuggling is completely eradicated.
