QUETTA – A woman has successfully given birth to quintuplets at a private hospital in Quetta, marking a rare multiple birth that has drawn widespread attention in the provincial capital.
The hospital administration said the woman delivered five healthy babies in a single childbirth.
The newborns include three girls and two boys. Medical officials confirmed that both the mother and the infants are in stable condition following the delivery.
Hospital authorities said the mother and all five babies have been shifted to a special care unit, where they are being kept under close observation by a team of doctors and nurses. The infants are receiving specialised neonatal care to ensure their healthy development during the critical first days after birth, while the mother is also being monitored as part of her post-delivery recovery.

The family, which belongs to Quetta, already had three children before the latest delivery. With the arrival of the quintuplets, the couple’s family has now expanded to eight children, making the birth a remarkable milestone for the household.
