Ppp Mulls No Confidence Motion Against Azad Kashmir Pm Anwar Ul Haq

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) officially decided to move no-confidence motion against Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq.

The decision came after high-stakes meeting of PPP Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Group in Islamabad, chaired by party chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Sources reveal that the number game for ousting the PM is already complete, signaling a major shake-up in Azad Kashmir’s political landscape.

The meeting also explored potential successors, with Chaudhry Yaseen, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, and Sardar Yaqoob emerging as strong contenders for the top post. PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira told the media that a detailed discussion on the “disturbing public unrest” in Azad Kashmir took place, hinting at widespread dissatisfaction with the current leadership.

The party plans to hold further consultations with President Zardari before making a final move.

Political insiders say this could trigger an intense power struggle, with every major party watching closely. Meanwhile, PML-N has reportedly yet to confirm its stance, leaving the fate of the government hanging by a thread.
