Alleged discrepancies in MDCAT exams:
The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Islamabad’s executive body held an urgent meeting on Monday with President of the Islamabad chapter of the PMA, Prof DrAkhtar Ali Bandeshah in chair and expressed serious concerns on the reports of mismanagement and discrepancies in the recently-held MDCAT exams.
The executive body urged President Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) Dr Rizwan Taj and Vice Chancellor SZABMU Dr Tariq to take immediate and urgent corrective measures to address the concerns of the candidates and rectify the discrepancies to save the career of thousands of young students. The PMA Islamabad also discussed the way forward and options if the issue stands unresolved. In case the students’ grievances remain unresolved we shall take every possible measure within the legal parameters to force the government to listen to the candidates’ concerns.
