KARACHI: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) announced 20 per cent discount for Pakistani students, the sources privy to the development said on Thursday.
The discount was announced for those students who are traveling to China to study there.
The PIA, the sources said, also allowed baggage allowance up to 60 kilograms.
Good news for Pakistani students who want to return to homeland or for summer holidays
The students who want to return to Pakistan for summer holidays or planning to return home after completing their studies could get benefit of it.
PIA now a days is operating weekly flight from Islamabad to Beijing and from Beijing to Islamabad on every Sunday.
Previously, the PIA increased the discount rate on its fares to 27 per cent for the students who want to travel to China to pursue their academic degrees.
The PIA, on Eid-ul-Fitre, had announced 20 per cent cut in the fares of the economy and executive economy classes.
