KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan declined, with the per-tola rate falling by Rs600 amid a drop in international bullion prices.
On September 10, the price of one tola of gold fell to Rs462,336. The decline was also recorded in the 10-gram category, with the price dropping by Rs515 to Rs396,378. The latest movement came after gold prices had increased on Wednesday. The per-tola rate rose by Rs800 to Rs462,936 during the previous session.

Gold also weakened in the global market, where the international price declined by $6 to $4,398 per ounce.

Silver prices also recorded a decline in the domestic market. The precious metal lost Rs17 per tola, bringing its price down to Rs7,124.
Overall, both gold and silver moved lower on Thursday, with domestic prices reflecting the weaker trend in international bullion markets.
