KARACHI – The gold price in Pakistan increased by Rs800 per tola in the local markets across Pakistan on Wednesday.
All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association confirmed the development, saying that the gold price in Pakistan reached Rs462,936 per tola after the increase.
The association said the price of 10 grams of gold in Pakistan also increased by Rs686, reaching Rs396,893.

Meanwhile, the international gold price went up by $8 per ounce to $4,404 in the global market. The latest increase in international gold prices also contributed to the rise in domestic gold rates.
