KARACHI — Pakistan’s gold market witnessed big jump on Wednesday as Gold prices moved up by Rs10,000 per tola to Rs437,936, while the rate for 10 grams of gold surged by Rs8,573 to Rs375,459.

The spike came just day after gold prices recorded slight correction, dropping Rs500 per tola on Tuesday to close at Rs427,936. However, the brief decline was quickly erased as international markets pushed the precious metal higher.
The domestic market followed a dramatic jump in international bullion prices, where gold climbed by around $100 per ounce, reaching $4,155 per ounce with a reported premium of nearly $20.
