Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority on January 12, 2024 has released a notification stated the security charges now termed as airport charges with no additional amount to be paid by the domestic passengers. It was stated in notice that the security charges are shown as nill, only title has changed with no new charges incurred by passengers.
It is pertinent to mention here that most of the media outlets misinterpreted the notification issued by the PCAA.
