Central Vice President of the Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) Ahmed Jawad, has hailed the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Pakistan as a major achievement for the country, stating that the international community is expressing confidence in Pakistan.

He emphasized that the summit will boost trade, business, and foreign investment, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s economic growth. Jawad called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to postpone its planned protest on October 15 in Islamabad, stressing, “International delegations are arriving in Islamabad, and we cannot afford to tarnish our image.” President of the Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) Ahmed Jawad urged that instead of protesting, it is essential to warmly welcome the foreign guests, as the summit reflects Pakistan’s successful diplomacy and provides an opportunity to enhance the country’s global reputation.

The PBF further noted that the SCO summit holds potential for strengthening regional cooperation and addressing global challenges. Jawad remarked that this is a critical moment in Pakistan’s international diplomacy, offering a unique opportunity for positive outcomes in both economic and political arenas.

The summit could pave the way for future economic and political initiatives, contributing to Pakistan’s progress on multiple fronts.

President of the Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) Ahmed Jawad added: “This is not the time for protests but for safeguarding the nation’s economic and diplomatic interests. We must present ourselves as a strong and stable nation before the global community.”
