Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in the Test series opener beginning at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on May 8.
Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host the second Test from May 16 to May 20. Both matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
Pakistan currently occupy fifth place in the standings after their home series against South Africa in October last year. The hosts secured a 93-run victory in the first Test, while South Africa bounced back to win the second match by eight wickets.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, sit eighth in the World Test Championship table following a 1-0 defeat in their two-Test series against Sri Lanka in June last year.
Pakistan last toured Bangladesh for a Test series in late 2021, where they completed a 2-0 clean sweep. Overall, the two teams have faced each other in 15 Test matches, with Pakistan winning 12, Bangladesh claiming two victories, and one match ending in a draw.

Speaking ahead of the series, Pakistan captain Shan Masood said the side was fully prepared for the challenge of playing in Bangladeshi conditions.
“We are fully focused on this series and the challenge of playing Bangladesh in their own conditions. Bangladesh are a very competitive side with quality in all departments, and we are looking forward to testing ourselves against them,” he said.
Masood added that the squad had the right balance to adapt to varying conditions and expressed confidence in both the bowling attack and overall team combination.
The Pakistan management, according to the skipper, also benefits from strong familiarity with the players, helping create a positive atmosphere within the camp.
