Pakistan posts 58 deaths, 1,853 new Coronavirus cases

Pakistan has reported 58 deaths from the Coronavirus and 1,853 new cases during the last 24 hours, according to the figures released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday morning.
According to the NCOC data, the tally of confirmed cases stands at 471,335 while the death toll surged to 9,874 in Pakistan. The total active cases in Pakistan stand at 39,329.
At least 1,643 patients recovered from the novel disease over the past 24 hours, pushing the number of recovered patients to 422,132.
Highest positivity ratio was observed in Abbotabad 25.53% followed by Karachi 13.56% and Faisalabad 10.14%. 2282 Covid patients are in critical condition across Pakistan and the number of critical patients is rising fast. The positivity ratio in various federating units is as: AJK 11.54%, Balochistan is 7.69%, GB 0.89%, Islamabad 3.81%, KP 7.15%, Punjab 3.98% and Sindh 7.36%
Province wise COVID Positivity Ratio under:-
Punjab: Lahore – 6.06%, Rawalpindi – 4.21%, Faisalabad – 10.14% and Multan – 4.08%. Sindh: Karachi – 13.56% and Hyderabad – 6.83%. KP: Peshawar – 6.98% and Abbottabad – 25.53%. Balochistan: Quetta – 8.33%. Islamabad: ICT – 3.81%. AJK: Mirpur – 9.68% and Muzaffarabad – 0.00%. GB: Mortality Analysis (n=9874). Current Fatality Rate: 2.09 against 2.19% globally, Gender: 70% Males, 77.5% over the age of 50 years, 73% had chronic comorbidities and *91% of deceased remained hospitalised.
