ISLAMABAD – The Embassy of Pakistan and its consulate general sin the United Arab Emirates will observe two holidays on July 16 and 17 on account of Ashura.
The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General in Dubai will not provide any services during these two days – Muharram 9 and 10.
It is recalled that the federal government has announced public holidays on July 16 and 16 to remember the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions.
The Pakistan missions in the Gulf countries provide various services related to renewal of ID cards, issuance of NICOPs, renewal of passports and others.
