Another innocent Kashmiri youth has fallen to the bullets of Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The youth was injured due to the firing of the troops during a cordon and search operation in Budhal area of Rajouri district on the 5th of this month. The troops had martyred another youth in the area on the same day. The injured youth later succumbed to his injuries and his body was recovered in Dhakikot area of Reasi district, today.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested at least ten youth during search operations and house raids in different areas of Baramulla district. The police dubbed the arrested youth as members of mujahid organizations to justify their illegal detention.

India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency raided several houses in different areas of the occupied territory, today, causing fear to the people. The NIA sleuths accompanied by the Indian paramilitary and police personnel conducted house raids in different areas of Kulgam, Shopian, Kupwara and Jammu districts. The residents of these areas told the media that during the raids, the forces’ personnel harassed the inmates and vandalized the household goods.

The occupation authorities booked a youth Maqsood Ahmad in Bandipora district under black law, Public Safety Act for his affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement. He was lodged at Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu.

On the other hand, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders at a meeting in Batamaloo area of Srinagar strongly condemned the continued human rights violations and house raids by Indian troops across the occupied territory. They said that the unrelenting Indian state terrorism posed an existential threat to the Kashmiris. They appealed to the international community to take cognizance of the grim situation in occupied Kashmir and play its role in the settlement of the Kashmir dispute to save the people of occupied Kashmir from Indian brutali-ties.—KMS
