Naqvi says federal intervention in Sindh is imperative

Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi has said that federal intervention in Sindh has become necessary.’ I have written to the federal government for application of Article-149 of the Constitution. This will be the first time.” The PTI leader said that people were not getting their rights. They were not getting clean drinking water. The firebrand politician said that they are grateful to Governor Sindh Imran Ismail for apprising the PM Imran Khan about whole situation in Karachi and to PM also for directing the Army and NDMA to take steps to resolve problems facing the city. He informed the media that PTI minister Ali Zaidi has said that he had the account of cleaning the drains. The Sindh government has installed 10,000 cameras in the city they can verify his stance. The PTI leader conclude with saying that people have been throwing stones at the Sindh ministers when they visit inundated areas.
