Governor Sindh Mohammad Kamran Khan Tessori held a meeting with Federal Interior Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board MohsinRazaNaqvi at Governor House here on Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed the current situation, security agencies’ role in establishing peace and security, and other matters of mutual interest.
Both dignitaries expressed their determination to utilize all resources to ensure peace and security and agreed on concrete steps against crime without discrimination. Governor Sindh emphasized that the federal and provincial governments are on the same page regarding crime eradication. He commended the initiatives taken by Chief Minister Punjab MohsinRazaNaqvi and reiterated the commitment to prevent the sacrifices of martyrs from going in vain. Subsequently, accompanied by Governor Sindh, Federal Interior Minister MohsinRazaNaqvi visited an IT market.
The students warmly welcomed them with applause. Addressing the IT students, Governor Sindh urged them not to lose hope, assuring them that the country’s situation would soon improve. He highlighted the presence of brave leaders who are combating both border terrorism and economic challenges. Furthermore, Governor Sindh informed that the government has initiated a Youth Employment Scheme under which entrepreneurs would receive financial support ranging from one to ten million rupees to start their businesses. Federal Interior Minister MohsinRazaNaqvi praised the agricultural initiatives taken by Governor Sindh, stating that he was impressed to witness them. Governor Sindh has turned the IT marquee into a small city, which only he could have accomplished. He expressed his delight at witnessing the work and emphasized that this is the kind of work that will always be remembered. He regretted that Pakistan lagged behind in the field of IT; this work should have been initiated long ago. This sector has the potential to drive the country’s economy forward; through IT, Pakistan can progress rapidly.
Addressing the students, Federal Interior Minister MohsinRazaNaqvi encouraged them to learn with dedication, expressing confidence that they would progress quickly. He prayed for everyone’s success and hoped that Governor Sindh would be rewarded for his efforts. Federal Interior Minister also met with students and discussed IT courses with them. He also praised the quality of packaging and food products during the visit to the ration bags manufacturing unit, emphasizing that Governor Sindh’s agricultural initiatives are commendable.
