More rain likely in Karachi, parts of Sindh

KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather and light rain for Karachi and parts of Sindh on Monday evening/night and Tuesday.

As per the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, partly cloudy weather and light rain/drizzle is likely in Dadu, Sanghar, Karachi and surroundings on Monday evening/night.

On Tuesday, light rain/drizzle-thunderstorm is likely in Karachi and surroundings. Mainly cold and dry weather is likely elsewhere in the province.

Karachi’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 14-16 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hyderabad’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 14-16 C on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, parts of Sindh including Karachi received rainfall of varying intensities during the last 24 hours.

Mithi remained the coldest place in the province where temperature dropped to 07 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 72 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 49 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 48 per cent.
