Monsoon Tree Plantation Campaign in Karachi, inaugurated by Chief Secretary Sindh Syed AsifHaider Shah on July 30, is progressing well and will continue until August 31.
Over the past week, 36,139 trees have been planted as part of this initiative. Deputy Commissioners have submitted performance reports of the tree-planting efforts in their respective districts to the Commissioner of Karachi. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with institutions, organizations, and citizens to ensure the campaign’s success. The campaign aims to plant 200,000 trees, with ongoing monitoring by the Commissioner’s Office.
