In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) and other Hurriyat organizations have expressed grave concerns over continued bloodshed and Indian machinations aimed at furthering degradation of the status of the disputed territory and its demographic complexion.
According to Kashmir Media Service, commenting on reports of possible political, administrative and demographic changes in the occupied territory, the DFP spokesperson made it clear that no piece of legislation by the Indian parliament can change the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Since 1947 the successive Indian governments passed many laws and issued many ordinances to change the status of Kashmir but the reality is that neither the world nor the people of Kashmir accepted India’s dominance in the region”, the spokesman said.
Reiterating Kashmiris’ pledge to thwart India’s nefarious designs, he said, “Kashmiris will go to any extent to protect the social, political and cultural identity of the territory”.
“India’s unilateral and illegal actions in Kashmir are in violation of international law and the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions,” he said and urged the international community to take action against the Indian government’s aggressive designs in the region.
Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen Chairperson Yasmeen Raja in a statement issued in Srinagar denounced the Modi regime for advancing Hindutva agenda in IIOJK.
Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Vice Chairman, Abdul Majeed Mir in a statement in Islamabad said that the fascist Indian regime was hell-bent upon furthering fragmentation of Jammu and Kashmir.
