Minister urges investors to tap opportunities created by CPEC

Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Abdul Bari Pitafi has said that the changing conditions of the world, especially the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, are creating ample opportunities for investment in the livestock sector in Pakistan.

The livestock sector is being given importance all over the world for investment. The Sindh government will give all possible facilities for the private sector to come forward for investment in the livestock sector.

He was addressing the soft launch ceremony of “DALFA Cattle Show 2021” which will be held from March 21 to 23 at Karachi Expo Centre. The guests were welcomed by Managing Director Badar Expo Solutions, Zohair Naseer, in his opening address in which he also lauded the support of Livestock & Fisheries Deptt.

Government of Sind, Livestock & Dairy Development Deptt. Government of Balochistan and Sindh Enterprise Development Fund. Zohair also extended his gratitude for representatives of various multinational firms, Farmers and media persons for giving their precious time to attend the ceremony.

Also spoken on the occasion were Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Mehsar (secretary livestock and fisheries Sindh), Mr. Inayatullah (Add. Secretary livestock and fisheries Balochistan), Mr.Agha Rafiullah  (MNA Malir), Mr.Naseer Hussain Kalhoro (DG Institute of animal health Sindh), Mr.Mehboob ul Haq ( CEO, SEDF), Miss Farah Deeba (Regional Manager BBoit).

Abdul Bari Pitafi, said that in view of the growing demand for food, the need to modernize the livestock sector has also increased.

Expo like DALFA Cattle Show provides new opportunities for farmers and such expos are also playing an important role in accelerating the growth of livestock sector in Sindh.
