Sindh Minister for Planning and Development, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, convened a significant session of the Planning and Development Board. Attended by prominent officials including Chairman PNND Najm Ahmed Shah and Secretary Planning Khair Mohammad Kalhoro, the meeting delved into vital schemes aimed at bolstering public services and enhancing infrastructure across the province. With a keen eye on bolstering urban infrastructure and managing city challenges effectively, discussions revolved around a robust urban policy. Projects such as SWAT and MSDP were underscored for their substantial contributions to infrastructure enhancement, emphasizing their alignment with broader developmental goals.

Moreover, the meeting emphasized the need for swift reforms and improvements in jail facilities, reflecting the government’s commitment to effective governance and rehabilitation services. Financial allocation and efficient utilization were stressed to ensure timely execution of designated projects. Minister Syed NaseerHussain Shah affirmed a commitment to monitoring ongoing schemes and ensuring alignment with set objectives, prioritizing both immediate needs and long-term national development.

“We are steadfast in our commitment to fundamental frameworks and social development projects that not only address immediate needs but also contribute to long-term national progress,” stated Minister Syed NaseerHussain Shah, reiterating the vision to extend facilities to the doorstep of the public, as envisioned by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
