ISLAMABAD – The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) fee has been increased by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) for the session 2024.
MDCAT 2024 is a standardised test taken by students in Pakistan who are seeking admission to medical and dental colleges for MBBS and BDS.
The test is a crucial part of the admissions process for undergraduate medical and dental studies in the South Asian country.
MDCAT is designed to evaluate the problem solving, critical thinking, and knowledge of natural, behavioral, and social sciences concepts and principles of a candidate required to the study of medicine.
MDCAT 2024 Latest Fee after Increase
The council has jacked up the MDCAT 2024 fee by 33 percent, taking it to Rs8,000 from previous Rs6,000.
Reports said there are more than 200,000 candidates, who are set to appear in MDCAT 2024 this year.

The registration of MDCAT has been started and students can use the online official platforms to get them registered.
MDCAT Test Date
The MDCAT 2024 is scheduled to take place on September 22.
