MULTAN – Surveillance cameras will be installed in examination centers of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Multan to ensure fair and transparent conduct of matric and intermediate examinations.
The project is part of the initiatives approved by the Board of Governors (BoG) of the BISE Multan on as it has okayed its annual budget amounting to Rs.2.856 billion for financial year (FY) 2025-26.
The budget was unanimously approved for the financial year 2025–26 in a high level meeting chaired by Commissioner Multan Amir Karim Khan.
In a significant move under its new fiscal strategy, the board has greenlit a range of development projects aimed at improving institutional infrastructure and service delivery. Among the key initiatives is the installation of solar energy systems across all board-operated facilities, promoting sustainability and reducing long-term operational costs.
A major highlight of the plan includes the establishment of a state-of-the-art secrecy hall, intended to bolster examination confidentiality and prevent malpractice. The board also approved the acquisition of essential operational machinery, including a modern secrecy press machine, to enhance the efficiency of day-to-day administrative functions.
Commissioner Amir Karim Khan, speaking at the announcement, emphasized the board’s commitment to responsible financial management. “Every rupee will be spent with transparency, honesty, and accountability. This is public money, and we are duty-bound to utilize it for the betterment of the institution,” he stated.
He further underscored the principles guiding the budget’s implementation—fiscal discipline, integrity, and outcome-based spending. Commending the board’s administrative team, the commissioner expressed optimism that these projects will significantly improve the standard and credibility of educational services in the region.
