KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan saw another decline on last working day of the week, as price of gold per tola moved down by Rs1,600 to Rs349,400.
The price of 10 grams of gold also registered a decrease, falling by Rs1,371 to reach Rs299,554. This marks the second consecutive day of decline.

Globally, gold prices also retreated. The international rate stood at $3,274 per ounce — including a $20 premium — showing a decline of $16.
Market analysts attribute the decline to a stronger dollar and easing geopolitical tensions, which have reduced the appeal of gold as a safe-haven asset.
