A man, his son and his daughter drowned in the Indus River in the Attock district. The family from a local village was on a picnic when the incident occurred. The man’s wife cried for help and the rescuers rushed to the spot.
The rescuers retrieved the body of Khurram’s 17-year-old son, Shaheer, but they could not find the 11-year-old daughter of Khurram as they had to halt the rescue operation due to darkness.—INP
