A resident of Uttarakhand, India, was shot and injured by unknown gunmen in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the injured individual has been identified as Dilranjeet Singh, who was targeted in the Herpora area of the district.
Singh was quickly taken to the Shopian district hospital and later referred to a hospital in Srinagar, where his condition is reported to be stable. Indian troops have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.—KMS
