The district administration of Federal Capital on Wednesday sealed Dhera Lumberdar Syed Zaki Haider Naqvi and the residential localities in the surrounding areas of Shah Allah Ditta as a number of cases of novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) were reported there.
A notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Hamza Shafqaat who is also the District Magistrate the area has been sealed in exercise of the powers conferred under Epidemic Disease Act (1958) in larger public interest and to prevent widespread outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) there.
Islamabad Police, Pakistan Army and the Rangers are requested to cordon off these areas to ensure public safety, the notification further said.
