According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country.

Intermittent monsoon rains with isolated heavy downpours are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Gujrat, Jhelum, Mangla, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, Mianwali and Faisalabad on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Impacts
Downpours may cause urban flooding in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot and Lahore.
Widespread rains may cause flash flooding in local nullahs of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Landslides may occur in Murree and Galiyat.

Daytime temperatures in Lahore are expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C on Tuesday and between 36°C and 38°C on Wednesday.
