Scattered rain is predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Wednesday night and Thursday with occasional gaps.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the western and upper parts of Pakistan. It will likely persist in the upper parts during the next 12 to 18 hours.
Under these conditions, cloudy weather with isolated rain is predicted in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Khushab, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Narowal, Noorpurthal, Faisalabad, Layyah, Jhang, Sahiwal, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addu, Bahawalnagar, Khanewal and Bahawalpur on Wednesday night and Thursday with occasional gaps. Rain with snow is likely in Murree and Galiyat.
Snowfall may cause road closures/slippery conditions in Murree and Galiyat. Fog is likely to subside in the central/southern parts of Punjab during the wet spell.
Lahore’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 06°C and 08°C on Thursday and between 05°C and 07°C on Friday.
Meanwhile, rain occurred at scattered places in upper/south Punjab during the last 24 hours. Cold and partly cloudy weather prevailed elsewhere in the province.

Murree remained the coldest place in the province, where the temperature dropped to 03°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 93 per cent.
