Kazakh Deputy Defence Minister, meets Naval Chief, Chief of Air Staff

The First Deputy Defence Minister & Chief of General Staff Armed Forces of Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad on Tuesday.

Earlier, upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, the visiting dignitary was received by Naval Chief.

During the one-on-one meeting between the dignitaries, matters of mutual interest including bilateral collaborations and regional security were discussed. The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan Navy’s efforts and initiatives in support of collaborative maritime security and stability in the region.

The recent visit of First Deputy Defence Minister & Chief of General Staff Armed Forces of Republic of Kazakhstan will further enhance bilateral collaboration between the Armed Forces of two countries.

The First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of Kazakhstan Lieutenant General Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich also called on Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and commended the professionalism of PAF.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters of professional and mutual interest, said a PAF media release. Lieutenant

General Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich also acknowledged PAF’s rising indigenous capacity in aviation industry.

The Air Chief said that Pakistan and Republic of Kazakhstan enjoyed longstanding religious, cultural and historical bonds which were manifested through strong ties between both the air forces.

The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
