As part Kashmir Solidarity Day commemoration falling on 5th February, the Embassy organized an event today in Minsk to show solidarity with the people in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) who are struggling for their right to self-determination enshrined in several UN Secu-rity Council Resolutions.
The event was attended by members of expatri-ate community and representatives of Kashmiri diaspora. A photographic exhibition and video documentary on human rights situation in Kashmir were part of the event. The participants expressed their unwavering support for the oppressed Kash-miri people in their just struggle for freedom from Indian occupation. The video highlighted the Jammu Massacre, discovery of several thousand unmarked graves and use of pellet guns by the In-dian forces against innocent Kashmiris.—PR
