Secretary Universities and Boards Department directed all education boards in the region to declare matriculation and intermediate exam results by September 15.
In a press release, Board Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch ordered all boards to declare results uniformly and on time.
As per the schedule, results for the general group in Karachi will be declared by August 30, with the science group results following by September 15.
Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and several other cities of Sindh will declare results by September 5. Tjhe announcement was made as students eagerly await matric results because they are key to higher education opportunities, career paths, and personal validation after years of hard work.
Education boards in Sindh conducted matric exams in May this year, but akin to previous years, they are struggling to prevent cheating during matriculation exams.
Several question papers including English, Pakistan Studies, and Islamiyat were out through WhatsApp groups. Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, and Karachi Education Boards have all failed to control this issue, leading to widespread cheating and undermining the credibility of the exams.
