The most supported party of Kashmir movement Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Saturday announced to form the chain of human hands in Islamabad on Kashmir day, February 5, to express solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris. Talking to media persons in the capital, deputy head of JI Mian Muhammad Aslam said that JI will present a memorandum to UN office and also make human hands’ chain.
JI leader said that JI has demanded the PM to appoint a deputy foreign minister to highlight the Kashmir issue across the world and also set up Kashmir desks in all Pakistan’s embassies.
He demanded Pakistan should close its airspace for Indian flights as he also suggested PM Imran to reject Trump’s mediation offer.
Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer Liaquat Baloch has said the Indian government under Premier Narendra Modi has proved it is the government of extremists.
Addressing a meeting at Mansoora, he said the most unfortunate aspect of the Muslim persecution in India was that none of the western countries and organisations championing the cause of human rights and freedom had responded to the situation.
He announced that the Milli Yakjehti Council meeting would be held in Islamabad on February 3 to discuss the situation prevailing in the Middle East and Kashmir.—INP
