LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced Jason Gillespie will coach the Pakistan men’s cricket team on next month’s white-ball tour of Australia.
The board said it has accepted the resignation tendered by Gary Kirsten, which reportedly stepped down from the position over difference with PCB.
Sources said Kirsten disagreed with the PCB over not including his preferred individuals in the selection committee, central contracts, and support staff.
He reportedly wanted players to be placed in preferred categories within the central contracts.
