In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one more youth on Sunday.

The troops martyred the youth in a fake encoun-ter during a cordon and search operation in Dassal Mehari area of Rajouri district of Jammu region. The operation was going on till reports last came in.

The Special Investigation Unit of Indian police attached an under construction residential house of a Hurriyat activist, Muhammad Ishaq Malik, at Dan-wathpora in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Is-lamabad district. India’s dreaded National Investiga-tion Agency and SIU have so far attached the head-quarters of All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Sri-nagar and several houses and properties belonging to pro-freedom leaders and organizations including the Jamaat-e-Islami across IIOJK.

Meanwhile, people staged a protest demonstra-tion during a so-called anti-encroachment drive at Shaheedi Chowk in Kathua district, today. The pro-test broke out after the people of the area came to know that the authorities were dismantling a com-mercial building at the Chowk.

Senior APHC leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, in a statement issued in Srinagar today said the Kashmir dispute is the main cause of tension between Pakistan and India and the two countries should resolve it through a peaceful dialogue process.—KMS
