In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched violent cordon and search operations in different parts of the territory.
The troops and paramilitary forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Zainapora area of Shopian district.
The forces sealed all entry and exit points of the area and conducted house-to-house searches. The troops also launched operations in different areas of Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipore, Budgam, Kishtwar, Doda, Poonch and Rajouri districts.
The forces during the operations questioned and harassed the locals especially youth and summoned them to the nearby police stations and army camps in the name of questioning.—KMS
