In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in a bid to kill more freedom-loving Kashmiri people in fake encounters, Modi-led fascist Indian regime has decided to equip its police with deadly Ameri-can Sig Sauer assault rifles and pistols.
The Indian Army has already equipped its troops present in IIOJK with the state-of-the-art rifles. As per officials, Indian police in IIOJK are probably the first to get the modern weapons, add-ing that the force will be procuring 500 Sig Sauer-716 rifles and 100 Sig Sauer MPX 9mm pistols.
The officials further said that police had re-cently floated global bids on the government buying portal GeM (Government e-Market) for purchasing the assault weapons. The Sig Sauer-716 assault rifle has a more pow-erful 7.62x51mm cartridge as compared to the 5.56x45mm intermediate cartridge of the INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) rifles used by police, they added.—KMS
