In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian police searched the house of a Hurriyet activist Muddasir Ahmad in Kishtwar district today.
The house of the Hurriyet activist at Tander village of Dachhan was searched in connection with a false case registered against him last year under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act.
Meanwhile, a masjid, a school and at least four houses were gutted in a blaze in the Gurez valley in Bandipora district.
The occupation authorities have also demolished many residential houses, shops, shopping complexes and other properties in the occupied territory.
The actions were aimed at punishing these people and organizations for their role in the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement.
Meanwhile, the female students from a school in Srinagar staged a protest, today, against the school administration for not allowing them to enter the premises of the school wearing Hijab.
Incarcerated APHC Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, in a message from New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail appreciated the recent fatwa unanimously issued by the Muslim religious leaders of IIOJK.
The Muslim religious scholars, mashaikh and muftis belonging to all schools of thought in the fatwa declared that any kind of cooperation with India’s Hindutva organizations including BJP, RSS and Bajrang Dal is ‘haram’, illegal and against the teachings of Islam.—KMS
