Indian police arrested three innocent Kashmiri youth in Srinagar, today. According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth, identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Khanday, Danish Ahmad Mala and Mehnan Khan, were arrested during a cordon and search operation in Hamdaniya Colony and Rainawari areas of Srinagar.
To justify the illegal detention of the youth, the police have claimed that they were active members of a mujahid organization and were carrying arms and ammunition at the time of arrest. However, local people said that the three youth were innocent.—KMS
