IESCO to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Eid: Amjad

Chief Executive IESCO Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan said on Sunday that Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has set up special teams to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to the consumers during Eidul Azha holidays.

He said that IESCO has cancelled the holidays of operational staff and has set up special monitoring desks in all its circles to address the complaints of consumers, regarding electricity supply during Eid holidays. The chief said that consumers can contact the telephone number given on the electricity bills, IESCO help line, Roshni SMS service or IESCO complaint and monitoring cell in case of an emergency.

He said that complaint offices have been provided with additional meters, HT/LT poles, transformers and other necessary equipment for the provision of quality and timely services to customers. CEO IESCO said that he himself and Chief Engineer Operations Muhammad Aslam Khan would monitor the operation during Eid holidays as operation teams in more than 130 compliant offices would remain alert and all these operations will be directly monitored by.He requested the consumers not to tie sacrificial animals under electricity poles, transformers and 11 KV wires. Additionally, IESCO management urges everyone to avoid disposing of animal trimmings near IESCO installations, the IESCO chief concluded.
