All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders and other Hurriyat organizations have expressed grave concerns over continued atrocities and gross human rights violations by Indian troops in the territory.

APHC leaders Davinder Singh Bhel, Narender Singh Khalsa, Mir Shahid Saleem, Muhammad Aqib, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement and Jammu and Kashmir Awami Party in their separated statements issued in Jammu said since 1947 the successive Indian governments have passed many laws and issued many ordinances to change the status of Kashmir but the reality is that neither the world nor the people of Kashmir accepted India’s dominance in the region.

Reiterating the Kashmiris’ pledge to thwart the anti-Kashmir designs of BJP, they said Kashmiris will go to any extent to protect the social, political and cultural identity of the territory.

The continued cordon and search operations, raids by infamous Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) in Kashmir valley and Jammu region and BJP Indian government’s unilateral and illegal actions of Aug 2019 and after that imposed laws in the territory are in violation of international law and the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, they said.

“We have been under complete military and po-lice siege but have never shown any inclination to bow before Indian Imperialism”, the statements added.

They denounced the Modi regime for advancing Hindutva agenda in IIOJK and urged the international community to take action against the BJP and RSS and their government’s aggressive designs in the territory.—KMS
