Dolphin Force in Lahore has arrested a man who allegedly attempted to loot some people by hitting his motorcycle with the car they were travelling in on Wednesday.

On the other hand, the Safe City has released a video in which the ‘dacoit’’ could be seen trying to give the impression that an accident has taken place and he has suffered bruises consequently.

The spokesman for the Safe City has said that recently the man hit his bike with the back side of the car that was waiting at the traffic signal for the light to go green.

On seeing that the motorcyclist had fallen to the ground, the spokesman has added, the people alighted from their car and tried to help him.

At that very moment, he has gone on to say, the bike rider tried to loot them at gunpoint.

And when they resisted, the spokesman has elaborated, the man opened fire at them.

“As soon as they heard the gunshot, Dolphin Force personnel rushed to the scene,” he has said, adding on seeing them the dacoit got panicky and fled.

The spokesman has informed that the Safe City Virtual Patrolling Officer traced the dacoit with the help of videos obtained from CCTV cameras installed nearby.

“And later, the Force personnel succeeded in arresting the man by looking at these videos,” he has said, adding that a case had been registered against the suspect and he was being questioned.

The spokesman has asked people to immediately contact by dialing the helpline number 15 in case of an emergency.
