Chairman Markazi Imam Hussain Council Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi has said that Hazrat Syeda Zainab is the role model for women of modern era
He was addressing Hazrat Zainab Conference organized by Markazi Imam Hussain Council to mark 1436th birth anniversary of Hazrat Syeda Zainab in collaboration with Punjab Council of the Arts, Rawalpindi here on Wednesday.
Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi said that Hazrat Zainab played immortal role in Karbala incident and her role needed to be followed by the Muslim women of modern times. Women of Indian Occupied Kashmir were following the footstep of Syeda Zainab, he added.
Director Punjab Council of the Arts Waqar Ahmed said that Hazrat Zainab was metaphor of righteousness for whole world.
