Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori hosted an evening of appreciation and Qawwali night at Governor House, recognizing the contributions of riders, delivery boys, and their families. The event saw a large turnout of children and families of those who earn their livelihood through bike services. Alongside Governor Sindh, DC South Zafar Abbas and Farukh Habib were also present at the Qawwali night. Governor Khan expressed gratitude for the opportunity to open the doors of Governor House to riders and their families, emphasizing their importance to society.
He pledged to double their earnings and provide health insurance for their families, aiming to alleviate their financial burdens. Additionally, five lucky individuals won Umrah tickets through a lucky draw at the ceremony, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The Governor commended Farukh Amin for his significant role in Rashan Drive, stressing that public service should always be the priority. He assured that through initiatives like SIIF, everyone will benefit, contributing to the prosperity of the city and province.
So far, 11,000 riders have been registered and provided with Eid bonuses and rations, with plans to enroll them in IT courses. Governor Khan encouraged everyone to remain hopeful, as positivity brings happiness and prosperity. The fortunate winners of Umrah tickets announced at the event include Naeem, Rashid, Kanwal, Muhammad Shiraz, and Samreen Ayub.
