Governor announces to distribute 2000 motorcycles in first phase

Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori has announced to distribute reconditioned motorcycles among those who lost their two wheelers in October, November and December 2023. Addressing a press conference at the Governor’s House on Monday, the governor said that the owners of stolen bikes across Sindh, including Karachi, would also be given bikes. Zafar Abbas of JDC was also attended the press conference.

Governor Sindh further said that recently it was announced that those who have lost motorcycles and mobiles in the city of Karachi, their financial condition is at verge that they cannot afford to purchase another motorbike. At the occasion, he also announced to give touch mobile to those who are deprived of mobile phones. “This is a difficult task for which funds are required, in this noble work I have the support of JDC and Saylani,” said the Governor. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori said that after the 18th amendment, the CPLC, universities and law and Order do not come under the Governor Sindh. He said that Zafar Abbas’s team has acquired 73 motorcycles from the market. In response to a question, the Governor Sindh said that those doing IT courses will get jobs up to USD 15,000. In response to another question, the Governor Sindh said that in the first phase, 2,000 bikes will be distributed among the victims of stolen motorbikes.

Governor Mohmmed Kamran Khan Tessori said that the Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) had played a vital role in protection against diseases, nursing programmes and health-related matters.  While addressing the fifth convocation of JSMU, the Governor said that the JSMU after becoming university had become prominent in the field of health.  Tessori said that the youth had an important role in the development of the country.

He said that the education made us a good man. He said that the country had a strong army, good people and a deluge of resources. The Governor said, we have to develop our country.  He said that the innocent people in Gaza were being killed, which must be stopped.
