KARACHI – Gold prices saw an upward trend in Pakistan in line with rising international prices on Thursday.
According to sarafa association, the price of gold surged by Rs800 per tola to close at Rs216,300 while the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs686 to settle at Rs185,442.
The prices of gold in international market also went up by $5 to reach $2,060 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the silver prices remained unchanged as Rs2,600 per tola and Rs2,229.08 per 10 grams in Pakistan.
A day earlier, the per tola price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 600 and was sold at Rs 215,500 on Wednesday compared to its sale at Rs 216,100 on the last trading day.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also decreased by Rs .515 to Rs.184,756 from Rs 185,271 whereas the prices of 10 gram 22 karat gold went down to Rs 169,360 from Rs.169,832.
