KARACHI – Gold price per tola touched Rs357,000 amid global gains amid massive buying in international markets.
Data shared by Saraffa Association shows gold prices saw upward movement on July 3, aligning with gains in international market. As per tola price of gold increased by Rs800 to Rs357,000, the price of 10 grams of yelleo metal also rose, closing at Rs306,069 after a gain of Rs685.

This rise follows a slight decline on Wednesday when gold prices dropped by Rs600 to Rs356,200 per tola.
Last week, gold prices saw some fluctuations but generally remained strong. The price per tola was highest on June 23 at Rs358,165, before dipping to Rs354,365 on June 24 and slightly rising again to Rs354,665 on June 25.
On June 28, prices declined further to Rs349,400, but rebounded on June 30, closing at Rs350,200. Overall, the gold prices exhibited a pattern of ups and downs within a narrow range, reflecting typical short-term market volatility.
Gold prices moved higher as well, with rates climbing to $3,350 per ounce, reflecting $8 increase from the previous trading session.
Silver prices also experienced a modest rise, with the rate per tola increasing by Rs55 to reach Rs3,871. Market experts attribute the rise in precious metal prices to ongoing global economic factors and increased demand in the local market.
