ISLAMABAD – Visiting Kuwait just got simpler as the government rolled out digital visa system for tourists, families, and businesses with no more long waiting time.
The new step was announced by Kuwati government for enhancing digital infrastructure and boosting tourism and business, as Middle East introduced state-of-the-art electronic visa system designed to simplify and accelerate the visa issuance process.
Kuwait E-Visa 2025
Tourist visas will be valid for three months, allowing visitors ample time to explore Kuwait’s cultural and recreational offerings. Family, commercial, and official visas will be issued for 30 days. Family visas enable residents to invite their relatives, commercial visas cater to international business representatives attending meetings and events, while official visas will be issued to government delegations visiting on official assignments.
Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior this initiative aligns with country’s smart governance policy, aiming to digitize services, enhance transparency, and strengthen international ties. Officials have also announced plans to expand the system to include more visa categories, moving toward a fully automated and digital visa service.
The introduction of this advanced system is expected to save valuable time for applicants and enhance the efficiency and security of Kuwait’s entry procedures, further positioning the nation as a leading regional hub for tourism and commerce.
