KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan remained above Rs4.24 Lac per tola after modest increase of Rs300. The slight gain mirrored a rise in international bullion prices, while silver also recorded an uptick in the local market.
On Monday, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs258, reaching Rs363,971. Although the latest gain was relatively small, it follows a much stronger rally recorded over the weekend, indicating that the domestic gold market continues to maintain its upward momentum.
New Gold Prices
| Commodity | Change | Latest Price |
| Gold (24K Per Tola) | +Rs300 | Rs424,536 |
| Gold (24K – 10 Grams) | +Rs258 | Rs363,971 |
| Gold (International Per Ounce) | +$3 | $4,021 |
| Silver (Per Tola) | +Rs107 | Rs6,177 |
The latest increase comes after a significant jump on Saturday, when gold prices surged by Rs2,400 per tola, taking the price to Rs424,236. The back-to-back gains suggest that investor demand for precious metals remains strong amid ongoing uncertainty in global financial markets.
Gold is widely regarded as a safe-haven asset, attracting investors during periods of economic instability, inflation concerns, geopolitical tensions, and fluctuations in major currencies. As a result, even modest changes in international prices can quickly influence local bullion markets.
In the global bullion market, gold prices edged up by $3 per ounce, bringing the international rate to $4,021 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
